About Woodlake Animal Hospital
Dr. Brian Jones and his wife, Sara, opened Woodlake Animal Hospital in 2010, focusing on internal medicine and surgery for small animals with an emphasis in canine reproduction.
Dr. Jones was born and raised in Plano, Texas, later moving to Edmond, Oklahoma, and graduating from Edmond Memorial High School. He earned a doctorate of veterinary medicine from Oklahoma State University in 2004.
Before opening his own veterinary practice, he worked at Neel Veterinary Hospital in Oklahoma City, where he honed skills in preventive medicine, emergency medicine, major medicine and surgery and became proficient in laser surgery, endoscopy, ultrasonography and laparoscopic surgery.
Dr. Jones is PennHIP certified, a member of the Synbiotics canine reproductive network (where he trained under Dr. Kit Kampschmidt), a member of both the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association and was part of the Society for Theriogenology.
He currently resides with his wife, son and daughter in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Dr. Yvette Foerster was born an only child in a large Hispanic family in Southern California. She earned her BS in Animal Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (aka Cal Poly Pomona) and earned her DVM from OSU Center for Veterinary Healthy Sciences (Class of 2011). She is happily married to Dan, the love of her life. She is also the proud mother of their first child, Kora. She has an interest in gardening, reading and drawing. She has practiced several martial arts including Jeet Kune Do, Kali Escrima, Western boxing and German Longsword fencing. She currently has two furry children–German Shepherds Mina and Wolf.
